The Farne Islands - Print

I visited The Farne Islands in May 2016. This piece was inspired by my time sitting on the rocks surrounded by Puffins nesting, and looking out onto the endless battle of the water and the land.

I have tried to capture the colour and shapes of this remote place, with particular focus on the pathways of the water through the landscape. I used oil paints and pallet knives.
